Specifically explain your research question and its sociological relevance as it relates to why you classify it as a social issue worth investigating.
From a conservative/right-wing perspective, and only using those sources (either media, think tank, research institutes etc.), present and answer your inquiry by forming arguments and justifying your claims from that perspective.
Provide a solution to the social issue remembering to stay within the limits of the paradigm.
Sources:
You are only allowed to use and justify your arguments using conventional “left wing”/liberal sources. While there are many unsavory sources out there, you are limited to the most mainstream of those. Sources like Twitter or Facebook news are not legitimate for this paper. However, you may use traditional left-wing TV/Online media sources, think tank groups, research institutes and journals.
You must use a minimum of 3 sources and a maximum of 6.
You will be graded by the following criteria:
The strength and relevance of your research inquiry as it relates to it being a social issue.
The level of critical analysis you put forth in answering your question from the liberal/left-wing paradigm.
How well you justify your claims with appropriate sources
Format:
2-3 pages total
Double Spaced
Use APA or MLA Citations. Pick one and stick with it throughout all 3 papers.
12-Point Font – Times New Roman
Normal Margins (1-inch)
3-6 sources per paper
Include a separate Bibliography page at the end of the paper (not counted towards the total page count)
Topic can be anything from Income inequality, racial inequality, poverty and wealth, US health care systems.
