Section V: Interim Results: Expected Outcomes and Conclusions

 

·       Summary paragraph.  If the project remains in the implementation stage by this Assignment due date, provide some ideas for evaluation processes that you plan to implement in MN 603.

·       Include a discussion of the application to clinical practice-how this EBP project will improve outcomes.

Your assignment should address interprofessional implementation strategies, and leadership skills that can promote a positive influence on change processes. The implementation plan should include SMART goals and objectives. A clear explanation of the stakeholders’ roles in the EBP plan of action is required along with a discussion on how generational competence played a role in the design and implementation of this project. There are specific steps that one takes when designing and implementing an EBP project. Having a spirit of inquiry is key to the process. Evidence-based practice projects always ask a question and for nursing these queries are typically in the form of a PICOT (population, Intervention, comparison, outcome and time). You have completed the initial steps of your project including the search for the best evidence. You have identified your stakeholders, designed and implemented your project through measurable objectives and developed goals within a designed timeframe.

In 1947, the psychologist Kurt Lewin developed a model to understand the change process. He entitled his model, “Force-Field Analysis.” Within this model are driving forces and resisting forces. Which determines forces that drive and forces that resist a proposed change. Driving forces are factors that are supporting the change away from the current state. Restraining forces are factors that work against the change. The idea is to try to remove the restraining forces as well as increase the driving forces.
