How will you design your facility to improve the patient experience?

Press Ganey is one of many companies that assist with patient satisfaction surveys.  The big database for most surveys is the federal government–These companies work on a monthly basis to provide detailed feedback because:
The governmental HCAHPS survey is done once a year
They cannot afford to do poorly as this costs them financially–all CMS patients are reimbursed based on their patient satisfaction and quality scores
The company like Press Ganey helps the organization to improve scores and they usually mail 300 surveys to the government each year.
Patient satisfaction has much more power today–the patients feedback and experience is critical to future business.  With social media –it’s a different world and word of mouth can help or hurt your business. What reactions do you have to the ideas they presented?
