I‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ am a 38 year old female, I am a faithful wife, but I’m not a mother. I am a loving Aunt, compassionate friend, I’m a loyal daughter, reliable sister, but I choose not to be a mother. I dedicate myself to studies, focus on my career, volunteer for the homeless, but society labels me as selfish for not having children. Many of my family members surfer from mental illness, the world is a harsh and unstable place, and climate change is taking over, while becoming over populated, so I chose to be child free. Not CHILD LESS, CHILD FREE. Because I am a female who is married to a male society expects me to reproduce. I fear for the future of my unborn child; therefore I have made a decision to not have children of my own, but I take the time to help enhance knowledge or skills to children that enter my life and encourage love and support to everyone. But I should not feel pressured from society that because I am a nurturing patience soul my purpose in life is raise children.
