Download Annotated Bibliography Formatting Guidelines and address the following prompts:

  • Introductory paragraph to topic (refer to the Final Paper guidelines for your topic selection).
    • Write an introductory paragraph with at least 150 words that clearly explains the topic, the importance of further research, and ethical implications.
  • Thesis statement.
    • Write a direct and concise thesis statement, which will become the solution to the problem that you will argue or prove in the Week 5 Final Paper. (A thesis statement should be a concise, declarative statement. The thesis statement must appear at the end of the introductory paragraph.)
  • Annotated bibliography.
    • Develop an annotated bibliography to indicate the quality of the sources you have read.
    • Summarize in your own words how the source contributes to the solution of the global societal issue for each annotation.
    • Address fully the purpose, content, evidence, and relation to other sources you found on this topic (your annotation should be one to two paragraphs long—150 words or more.
    • Include no less than five scholarly sources in the annotated bibliography that will be used to support the major points of the Final Paper.
    • Demonstrate critical thinking skills by accurately interpreting evidence used to support various positions of the topic.

4 Discussion Topic: Technology and the Teaching Experience Paradigm Shifts

In about 250 words, discuss the differentiated instruction which means keeping all students in mind when developing lesson plans and workbook exercises, lectures, and interactive learning. The newest technologies allow you to try things in physical and virtual classrooms. What you use depends fundamentally, on what you are trying to accomplish. With these thoughts in mind, explain how teaching with technology can deepen the learner experience. Choose an educational technology applicable to academia, community, staff, or patient education and discuss how it can be used to support instructional objectives.

Write a 500 word essay addressing each of the following points/questions. Be sure to completely answer all the questions for each bullet point. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. A 68-year-old client lives alone and is independent with all ADLs, has no restrictions for mobility, and is competent, and oriented x4. The client is on a fixed income, but has enough to manage a modest lifestyle. The client has family and social supports but is very independent and is proud of her self-reliance. The client’s height is 5’ 6”, weight is 210 lb. / 95.25 kg.

Please answer the following:

  • What is the client’s BMI?
  • Identify what screening tools you would use to assess nutritional and exercise knowledge, and why?
  • One Outcome/Intervention/Rationale:
    • Identify one outcome/goal that is reasonable, measurable and realistic. Identify 1 nursing intervention for the outcome and give rationale for the intervention.
