Please make sure you create a counter argument to the argument you posted in module one. Please make sure you read the lecture on how to create a counter argument.

In M1: Assignment 2, you identified and explained the weakest or strongest argument in a set of articles. You identified the premises and conclusions, discussed whether or not an inference was warranted, and discussed matters of truth and consistency within the specified subject.

Review your work in M1: Assignment 2 where you analyzed the sets of articles assigned to you.

Using these articles, complete the following:

  • Provide your position on the issue in the articles assigned to you.
  • State and explain a key objection to your position on this issue.
  • Despite the objection, develop a counterargument to defend your position. (This will likely be an “engulf-and-devour” argument.)

You may use the M1: Assignment 2 readings as sources for evidence and facts. Be sure to do the following:

  • Use additional references to support your arguments and provide evidence as needed.
  • Use key language and phrases suggested in your readings.
  • Apply APA standards to citation of sources.

Write your initial response in 200–300 words. Be sure to reply to at least two of your classmates using at least 75 w

Please make sure you create a counter argument to the argument you posted in module one. Please make sure you read the lecture on how to create a counter argument.

It is always important to be able to look at an issue from several different sides.  The foundation of critical thinking is to look at both sides of the issues and then make a decision based on values and social considerations.

Please articulate the counter argument and then let me know why you chose one side or the other.  You might want to consider one of the highest values by which you make decisions.

I look forward to your thoughts on how you will incorporate the various elements from the lecture. This would be the elements on how to construct a counter argument.   Please include some detailing on the counter argument strategy of “engulf and devour.”

Please let me know how you are doing this and I look forward to your work.

. discuss the way that our neurological chemistry can be affected as a result of living under stressful circumstances, such as a pandemic.

A lot of attention has been paid recently to the rising suicide rates among teens.

Use the information you learned in the lecture this week about suicide and the articles below to develop an essay answering the question – “What should be done to address the rising suicide epidemic in teens?”

The writing assignment should be a minimum of 500 words and include an introduction with an overview of your essay, ending with a thesis statement answering the question “What should be done to address the rising suicide epidemic in teens?” in your own words.

The essay should also include a body with support for your claim.

Be sure to end your essay with a solid conclusion that wraps up and summarizes all of the ideas presented throughout your essay.

Choose any one topic:

1. discuss the way that our neurological chemistry can be affected as a result of living under stressful circumstances, such as a pandemic.

2.  discuss the manner in which the pandemic could affect our dreams, our meditative practices, our drug or alcohol consumption and/or our general states of consciousness.

3. discuss how this crisis has an impact on our memory processes.

4. psychological difficulties and their treatment, which would both be excellent topics to address in a paper about a global crisis.

I have attached the rubric for it, please read it.

The document should be in APA format with 2 full pages, Single Spaced.

Write a conclusion that summarize the main points of your paper. Then, interpret the research you read as a whole. Possible things to consider in your conclusion: What main themes emerged? What

Please review attached essay on the biological basis of Bell’s palsy.
here is the original assignment requirements please ensure it meets them please.

The purpose of this assignment is to complete a paper that will:

  1. Identify the biological basis of a disease or disorder of the nervous system (This could be at the level of neurotransmitters, hormones, cells, brain structures or another aspect of the nervous system.)
  2. Summarize current research to better understand the role of the nervous system in the disease/disorder

The final paper should showcase your best work in synthesizing and applying information about the biological basis of behavior, as well as your writing skills. An example paper from a UMGC student is available to provide a strong example of this assignment (see the attachment below).

Please complete the following this week:

  1. After re-reading your research summaries and feedback, write an introduction to your final paper that will introduce your reader to research the topic, and preview the types of research summaries you will include. You may also want to use additional sources to cite important statistics about the disease/disorder or describe important symptoms or treatments that may be relevant.
  2. Revise your research summaries by re-reading to correct any confusing sections, typos, mistakes or omissions. Integrate any feedback you received. Add transition sentences to guide your reader through the summaries.
  3. Write a conclusion that summarize the main points of your paper. Then, interpret the research you read as a whole. Possible things to consider in your conclusion: What main themes emerged? What differences/discrepancies/controversies emerged? What gaps still exist in the research (what is still unknown about the biological basis)? What new discoveries have been made?
  4. After you have completed your paper, write an abstract. The abstract should be a mini-preview of the upcoming paper. A basic format for an abstract could include a sentence (or two) introducing the topic, a sentence summarizing the kinds of research the reader will encounter in your paper, and a sentence (or two) about the conclusion of the paper. (You’ll want to have your paper fairly complete before writing your abstract. Once the paper is complete or close to complete, it will be a lot easier to pull out these key pieces of information and assemble the abstract.)
  5. Use APA format for your writing. This assignment should be approximately 6 pages long (not including a cover page and references page) in APA format (12 point font, double-spaced, 1″ margins). Additional information about APA format is available HEREAn MSWord document that is pre-formatted to APA format is available for you to use (see the attachment below).  Please use this template to help ensure that most elements of APA format will be already included in your assignment, making it a lot easier to produce a high-quality, professionally formatted assignment. 🙂

Provide title, artist, date. ONE embedded image or video/audio file is required for each example. (If you choose art, provide the image, for literature, look for book covers. If you choose music, embed audio or video from YouTube.)

Find one example of art used as propaganda and one example of protest art – both from countries outside of the United States. The art can be a poem, book, painting, or song. The examples do not have to be from the same place of origin, so you are free to choose propaganda from one area of the world and protest from another.

To read the definition of propaganda and see some literary examples, go to https://literaryterms.net/propaganda/ (Links to an external site.).

To learn more about how art has been used as propaganda, take a look at the article “How Has Art Been Used as Propaganda?” at  https://owlcation.com/humanities/How-has-art-been-used-as-propaganda (Links to an external site.)

To learn more about how art has been used as a form of protest, read “Cultural Resistance: The Power of Music and Visual Art as Protest” at https://www.newtactics.org/conversation/cultural-resistance-power-music-and-visual-art-protest (Links to an external site.) or “The Role of the Arts in Political Protest” at https://mobilizingideas.wordpress.com/2013/06/03/the-role-of-the-arts-in-political-protest/ (Links to an external site.)

The articles above should provide adequate definitions and examples for starting your research.

create two parts. Part I: Propaganda and Part II: Protest. Be sure to cover the following for each part. I recommend copying and pasting the questions twice, once in each part of your post:

  • What examples have you chosen for each?
    • Provide title, artist, date. ONE embedded image or video/audio file is required for each example. (If you choose art, provide the image, for literature, look for book covers. If you choose music, embed audio or video from YouTube.)
  • Summarize the purpose the art served.
    • Identify the country.
    • For Part I: Propaganda Art – what was it propagating?
    • For Part II: Protest Art – what was it protesting?
    • Explain the political, religious, or moral climate surrounding it.
  • Determine how it was used.
    • Was it widely distributed?
    • Was it on public display?
    • Was it published or displayed outside of the country of origin in order to gain sympathy for its cause?
  • Examine whether the art was considered a success.
    • For moralistic, did it help propel the moral or ethical message?
    • For Part I: Propaganda Art – was it successful in promoting its cause? (Note that I’m asking about promoting the propaganda, not whether the movement was successful. For example, propaganda for the Nazis in Germany during WWII was successful even though the Nazis were not.)
    • For Part II: Protest Art – was it banned in its country of origin?
