VI JOURNAL ENTRY

Reflect on what you have learned in this unit. In your own words, discuss the value of sampling in research. Think about the following when composing your journal entry:

If you were a marketing researcher, and you were describing the difference between a sample and a census to a participant, how would you do that? If you were describing probability and non-probability sampling to an intern in your marketing research company, what are some differences between the two sample methods that you would describe? What factors should be considered when choosing between probability and non-probability sampling?

Your journal entry must be at least 200 words. No references or citations are necessary.
