Storage Management

During the Hands-On Lab, you utilized various tools to work with storage disks. In previous activities, you also created users, groups, and resources. As your system grows, storage management becomes increasingly important because “there is only so much to go around.” Part of storage management focuses on ensuring you have a proper backup of your system configurations and data. In this module’s course project assignment, it is pertinent to capture an image of your workstation–both for recovery purposes and image deployment. Create an image preparation plan for Windows 10, a popular Linux Distribution, and Mac OS X 10.x. The plan should utilize either built-in tools or third-party solutions and include an image maintenance plan.

This assignment addresses the transferable skills of digital fluency and information literacy. You will demonstrate your ability to:

Independently navigate to and open an Internet browser to use its interface to access simple Internet Technology.
Evaluate digital resources by relying on search engine results and distinguishing relevant digital materials from irrelevant materials.
Create digital files by employing a template to create a document in the proper file format that incorporates built-in software tools for integrating graphics and other enhancements.
Collaborate digitally using digital tools to enter contact information and directions to access specific websites to retrieve digital resources.
Select credible sources and cite them according to APA standards.

Advancing Development

Practitioners in the helping professions must be open to seeing people from different perspectives and must develop compassion for others. An understanding of the different stages of human growth and development provides insight into various populations and age groups for person-centered care.
Learners articulate the theories for each developmental stage based on emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual factors. Learners identify challenges associated with the chosen developmental stage and propose applicable solutions to address these challenges. They compare and contrast their chosen developmental stage with the other two stages. They develop an understanding of the different stages of human growth and development and gain insight into various populations and age groups for person-centered care.
Scenario:
Maria is 43 years old and is a refugee from Cuba. She just came to the United States with her two children: Isabel, who is 13 years old, and Carlos, who is 3 years old.
Choose one of the family members from the case studyMaria, Isabel, or Carlos. You will use this person for all of your advancing development papers.
Note: This scenario is brief to allow you to make inferences as to development and potential problems that the individual may face.

1. Choose one family member from the presented scenario: Maria, Isabel, or Carlos.
2. Describe your chosen individuals physical, social/emotional, cognitive, and spiritual/ moral development. Be sure to address the following:
Physical Development
i. What are some key terms and concepts that are important to know in
relation this age group?
