Scenario
You are the Community Health Educator at Rassy Medical Center and you must prepare a comprehensive presentation for the next medical conference. Due to the abundance of cases this past year of patient hearing loss due to otitis media with effusion, you have decided to make this illness your core topic.

Instructions
Prepare a presentation for the conference to communicate your topic of otitis media with effusion to other medical professionals. Your presentation will focus on how providers should educate and communicate this illness to their patients. You may use PowerPoint, Prezi, or a similar presentation application of your choice.

Ensure that you create at least 2 or more slides per bullet point below:

Create the dialog that would occur between yourself and the patient explaining what their medical diagnosis is. Keep in mind that your patient has hearing loss.
Present the treatment options for the illness and how you would verbally and visually explain it to your hard-of-hearing patient. Be sure to include other medical providers that the patient may need to see. Images and videos are encouraged.
Construct an FAQ on otitis media with effusion that you would provide to patients to assist them with their question regarding the best care and treatment options for the illness.
Choose five therapeutic communication techniques and define them. Provide a specific example regarding your patient for each technique.
Assuming that your patient’s hearing loss became permanent, provide 2-3 community resources that they would be able to reach out to. Provide contact information and a background on each resource.
