Explain how you would disseminate this information and ensure understanding amongst all stakeholders. Elaborate on how you would establish trust with the employees, protect employee identities, and ensure the results are used in an ethical manner

Prior to beginning work on this discussion, read the Fisher (2009) article, “Replacing ‘Who is the Client?’ With a Different Ethical Question” and the APA’s Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct: Including 2010 Amendments (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. paying special attention to standard 3.11.

Informed consent is an important ethical component of research and practice. It is not, however, always sufficient or appropriate for consulting, program evaluation, job effectiveness assessment, or other psychological services delivered to or through organizations because it does not always address all the necessary elements of a given situation. These facts do not negate our responsibility as psychology professionals to inform clients and those who may be impacted by our services. In the discussion you will address these issues through the following case study.

You are an industrial organizational (I/O) psychologist and have been hired to evaluate a company’s “Work From Home” policy to see if it has increased company production. In addition to a review of the employee records, the evaluation needs to include interviews with supervisors and employees on the value and limits of the policy. Since informed consent as typically considered in clinical, counseling, and research settings will not be sufficient in this instance, you will need to inform all supervisors and employees about your services.

In your initial post, briefly analyze and define who the client is in this case study. Assess your professional role as the I/O psychologist and your responsibility to the client as defined. Apply the APA’s Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. to this scenario, specifically addressing what information should be provided to all supervisors and employees. Explain how you would disseminate this information and ensure understanding amongst all stakeholders. Elaborate on how you would establish trust with the employees, protect employee identities, and ensure the results are used in an ethical manner

Identify at least three examples of a business leader whom you feel exemplifies each theory (autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire), and then explain why. Give specific examples of why you believe the theory is applicable.

Please read the below instructions and the attachments i need it in next 8 hours Please write 5 pages Sources are given by my teacher so please write according to that.

You have learned about trait and behavior theories and are now ready to apply them in a case study. Develop a case study to investigate, evaluate, and potentially apply trait and behavior theories. In your discussion, be sure to address the following in your case:

Provide an overview of each theory.

Identify at least three examples of a business leader whom you feel exemplifies each theory (autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire), and then explain why. Give specific examples of why you believe the theory is applicable.

Describe any similarities and differences, providing examples to support your findings.

Assess the application of each theory. Are they relevant to today’s organizations? Explain your position.

Support your case study with at least three scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.

Length: 5 pages, not including title and reference pages

Your case study should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.

What is the psychological construct or “big idea” shared by the presenter?

. Explore and read the APA website section on “Divisions of APA”  (http://www.apa.org/about/division/).  Students should review the diverse nature of the APA, explore links to several of the divisions of the APA, and explore additional links within each division (e.g., Division 14 society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology provides a link to the SIOP website).  Save this link to your Learner Toolbox for future use.

3. For your initial discussion post, please address the following:

  • What is the psychological construct or “big idea” shared by the presenter?
  • Based on what you discovered when exploring the “Divisions of the APA” website, which subfield(s) of psychology would the presentation you watched be applicable to? Explain why you believe this to be the case based on what you learned about the different Divisions within the American Psychological Association.
  • How has the information this week impacted your career interests?  What questions arose in your mind while you watched the presentation?

IMPORTANT: cite your sources in-text (i.e., the body of your discussion), and provide a “References” list.  We understand this may be your first time applying APA Style, citing sources, and creating a reference list, but just try to do your best.  We will develop these skills during the first few weeks of class.

LESSON: Learning to format an initial discussion post.

Create an initial discussion post using the following format (applying this format will help you learn how to effectively format discussion posts throughout your program).  There are three primary sections (i.e., each bullet point) in the previous discussion that need to be addressed: 1) Presenter’s construct or “big idea”, 2) connection to APA website, and 3) questions that arose in your mind.

Describe at least three specific ways you will apply what you have learned this term to your personal and professional life.

Reflection

Throughout the last six weeks, you have learned to critically evaluate data and compute several statistical analyses. Think back to the first week of the course when you began this journey into the world of data analysis and presentation.

How have your beliefs and attitudes changed? You may find that you now think differently about statistics you read or hear about in the news and advertisements. You may have a better understanding of research articles you read in your coursework. Hopefully, you have become a more critical consumer of information. Take some time to reflect on how you have grown and learned this term, and plan how you will incorporate your new knowledge into your everyday life.

By Day 3

Post a response to the following:

  1. Reflecting on what you have learned over the past six weeks, explain how your perception of statistics has changed.
  2. Describe at least three specific ways you will apply what you have learned this term to your personal and professional life.
  3. Explain how what you have learned in this course will impact your approach to at least one of the features of social change (Scholarship, Systems Thinking, Reflection, Practice, Collaboration, Advocacy, Civic Engagement, Humane Ethics), described in the Expanding Our Understanding of Social Change report in this week’s Required Resources.

Be sure to fully explain your rationale for each of your answers, and support your ideas with evidence from the text and Learning Resources.

Provide an APA reference list.
