Step 1) Review the following resources before creating the memo:

Step 2) Understand that the assumption underlying strategy maps in for-profit organizations is that financial outcomes are the end goals that they are striving for and that other objectives within the change program should be aligned to produce and support those desired outcomes. If particular activities and the objectives don’t support the changes, they should be seriously questioned and either dropped or reduced in importance.

Step 3) Consider a change initiative that you know is currently being researched for adoption, or that you want to have considered for adoption, by an organization with which you are familiar.

Step 4) Prepare a memo of at least 700 words written in the third person voice, and address the following issues. You must address the following topics below using the section headers (labels) in bold:

  • Section 1- Introduction  (<– this is a section header) – describes what the memo is going to be about; it mentions the upcoming sections.
  • Section 2- Description of Change Initiative (<– this is a section header) – In this section, describe a change initiative that is currently being researched for adoption, or one that they want considered for adoption by an organization with which they are familiar
  • Section 3- Vision Impact to Financial Results (<– this is a section header) – In this section, identify how the completed vision change would look in regards to financial results.
  • Section 4- Initiatives from a Customer Service Perspective (<– this is a section header) – In this section, explain which initiatives have to be undertaken from a customer service perspective to deliver on the value proposition in ways that generate the desired financial results.
  • Section 5- Changes from an Internal Business Process Perspective (<– this is a section header) – In this section, describe what changes need to be made from an internal business process perspective to accomplish these customer or financial outcome efficiencies.
  • Section 6- Changes from a Learning & Growth Perspective (<– this is a section header) – In this section, describe the changes that need to be made from a learning and growth perspective to increase the organization’s capacity to do what is needed.

For this assignment, you will recall the last time you were in an argument or had a disagreement with someone in which there was no resolution. You are to write a letter to the individual with whom you were arguing using the Rogerian strategy. Make sure you do all of the following:

  • Introduce the issue and restate the opposing position to show you understand it.
  • Show in which contexts and under what conditions the opposing position may be valid. State it so that it is acceptable to the opposition.
  • Write a clear transition that moves the reader from the position you have just explained to the position that you favor and will now defend.
  • State your own position and describe the context in which it is valid.
  • Show how the opposing position would be strengthened by adding elements of your position. Then try to reconcile the two positions.

You can make up an arugument just make sure its not to complicated. Also make sure to read the attached file first and make sure to follow the instructions clearly.

For this week’s Assignment you will create a minimum 10 slide (excluding the title and reference slides) PowerPoint presentation. In your presentation, demonstrate how the Bill of Rights is applied in major criminal justice cases. You must incorporate speaker notes as part of this presentation which contains notes that you would utilize if presenting to a live audience.

Include the following in your Presentation:

  • Include at least one slide for each of the following Amendments explaining how each is applied to criminal cases.
    • First Amendment
    • Second Amendment
    • Fourth Amendment
    • Fifth Amendment
    • Sixth Amendment
    • Eighth Amendment
  • Discuss the historical context of why these Amendments were created as rights to protect individuals.
  • Research the Eighth Amendment and advocate a position both for and against capital punishment regardless of your personal beliefs.
  • Based on your research and personal beliefs, conclude this presentation by choosing a position either for or against capital punishment (or possibly a combination of the two). Provide rationale for your reasoning.
  • Describe how an attorneys’ personal position on capital punishment might affect his or her approach to criminal cases.

Formatting Directions:

  • Use one basic slide design and layout.
  • Limit slides to between six and eight lines of content.
  • You may use pictures, charts, and graphs to supplement your material as long as they do not take up the entire slide.
  • Use bullets for your main points.
