Relate directly to enterprise risk management in the context of  either developing, assessing, or implementing an ERM program.

This assignment will be one of several throughout the Ph.D. program  that we use to help you prepare for the dissertation process. One of  the core competencies necessary to succeed in a doctoral program is the  ability to identify other research that pertains to your own. This means  you’ll have to identify related research, read the papers, and  assimilate prior work into your research. An annotated bibliography  helps you develop and hone these research skills.

The paper must be in a correct APA format, use correct grammar, and  will need to include at least five (5) resources, ALL of which must:

1) Be current. Published within the last few years.

2) Be peer-reviewed.

3) Relate directly to enterprise risk management in the context of  either developing, assessing, or implementing an ERM program.

Remember that an annotation is not the same as an abstract.  Abstracts are descriptive. Your annotations are to be evaluative and  critical. Give me enough information for me to decide if I’m interested  enough to read the paper, and also how you perceive the paper. Do not go  skimpy on these annotations, but DO NOT write too much here. Quality is  far more critical than quantity. This exercise is for each of you to  demonstrate that you can identify, categorize, and digest multiple  research papers.

The resources you choose must be peer-reviewed. That means the  paper must have undergone a formal peer review before being published in  a journal or presented at a conference. You must ensure that your  resources have undergone rigorous reviews. In most cases, you can find  out the review process for a conference or journal by visiting the  appropriate web site. Do not merely assume that a resource is  peer-reviewed – check it out.

As indicated in the recommended resources for this week, the Wolfe text is available from Ebook Central  in the Ashford Library.

Our working memory is a significant component to learning new information. Working memory is complex as it encompasses many areas of the brain. It is oftentimes considered a central executive, a phonological loop, a visiospatial sketchpad, and an episodic buffer (Willis & Mitchell, 2014). Discuss the process of working memory including the areas of the brain associated with short-term memory and encoding. Then explain two techniques you can use in your professional practice that would help improve and strengthen short-term memory. In addition to the Willis and Mitchell (2014) textbook, Chapter 9 of the Wolfe (2010) book may also be useful. As indicated in the recommended resources for this week, the Wolfe text is available from Ebook Central  in the Ashford Library.

For this assignment, the student will provide a synopsis of eight peer-reviewed articles from nursing journals using an evaluation table that determines the level and strength of evidence for each of the eight articles

Report Issue

In nursing practice, accurate identification and application of research is essential to achieving successful outcomes. Being able to articulate the information and successfully summarize relevant peer-reviewed articles in a scholarly fashion helps to support the student’s ability and confidence to further develop and synthesize the progressively more complex assignments that constitute the components of the course change proposal capstone project.

For this assignment, the student will provide a synopsis of eight peer-reviewed articles from nursing journals using an evaluation table that determines the level and strength of evidence for each of the eight articles. The articles should be current within the last 5 years and closely relate to the PICOT statement developed earlier in this course. The articles may include quantitative research, descriptive analyses, longitudinal studies, or meta-analysis articles. A systematic review may be used to provide background information for the purpose or problem identified in the proposed capstone project. Use the “Literature Evaluation Table” resource to complete this assignment.

While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.

You are not required to submit this assignment to LopesWrite.

Future of Health Care IT.

Topic:  Future of Health Care IT.

With everything that we have covered so far in class, and what we read and see in the world around us, it is obvious that major changes are happening all around us. And, changes seem to be occurring at an ever increasing rate. As part of these changes, there will be changes in how healthcare is delivered to the society. Many new technologies are becoming available, although some are not yet in common use. These advancements are likely to result in cheaper, easier access to healthcare and new paradigms in healthcare delivery.

GROUP 4:  Do some web research and find a new or emerging technology that you believe will improve patient outcomes and/or improve the delivery of health care.  Explain what the technology is and how and why you believe it will improve patient outcomes and/or improve the delivery of health care.  Please put the name of the technology in your subject line and choose something that has not already been reported on by another student.

  1. Put the name of the technology in the Subject line for your posting.
  2. From your research, explain:
    1. What the technology is
    2. How and why you believe it will improve patient outcomes and/or improve the delivery of health care.
