zero tolerance policy

Since this week’s reading topic was HR related,  I felt the ‘Zero Policy’ article was appropriate which is found in the ‘article’ tool.  HR is the department that often develops and finalizes company policies in larger organizations.  The V.P. of HR is part of the strategic management staff of the organization, so policies would need  the approval from the strategic management staff of the organization.  :

Applied Devices implemented a zero-tolerance policy.  You are hired from someone outside the company to review the policy. Based on the details of the article, what is your recommended  position on Applied Devices zero-tolerance policy?  State clearly the advantages and/or disadvantages you see with such a policy.  Be sure to substantiate your position.
