Critical thinking, information literacy, a minimum of 1250 words:  Listen to the podcast in the link below. Identify 3 or more chapters in the text that relates to the podcast discussion.  Identify what areas of the chapter are connected to the podcast, provide supporting details, and explain the reason it connects to the podcast.  Search for The New York Times Magazine 1619 Project via Blackboard to ensure access to the articles.  Choose one of the articles, identify which chapter in the text it relates and critique the article (what it says, does not say, should say).  Propose at least 2 solutions to address the identified problems in the podcast and/or chosen article.  In your opinion, is the USA a nation truly built on immigrants and the “land of the free”, why?  Who do you think are the first immigrants and not immigrants, why?
