One area that is often overlooked is the role of good physical security and supporting policies that help provide protection against physical threats.
Consider the following routine functions that go on inside most organizations and how they might pose a threat to the organization resources. Landscaping and janitorial services, UPS/FED-EX/USPS delivery and pickups, visitor tours of facilities, and employee’s telecommuting from home due to illness.
Describe in one to two pages how EACH of the identified areas scenarios might represent a threat to an organization’s network security and how it might be mitigated.
