Terrorism in the US and France

Attached youll find an essay Im working on. I would like to expand on how terrorism has impacted the political institutions and processes of the US and France. I would like to compare and contrast the ways in which each country has adapted to terrorism and how political parties have differed in their views as well as how the public has reacted in their elections to such stances.
