Students are asked to search the professional literature in counseling and related fields for
a set of five articles that are of interest to them to review for an annotated bibliography.
These articles may be on the same or different topics. Students should explain why they
chose the set of articles for review in a short paragraph at the beginning of the
bibliography. The articles should be drawn from at least three professional journals and at
least one article should be from the major counseling journal Journal of Counseling and
Development. For each article, provide a bibliographic reference, briefly summarize the
article, and critically evaluate it in relation to how it might be relevant to your future
professional practice. Bibliographic references should be in APA style. The annotated
bibliography should be no more than five pages long
