Q. What are some programming methods you see networks using to maximize profits while still retaining audiences?

For example, many shows have reduced their season to 10 to 12 episodes for a run. Doctor Who, Stranger Things, Game of Thrones are shows that do this. Others will do a half-season and split the prime-time slot between fall and spring shows. For example, iZombie and Legends of Tomorrow are two shows that will run a shorter schedule but still follow the Fall/Spring primetime schedule.
