Each essay is worth ten points, but there is extra credit available if you do a phenomenal job. Remember that you are trying to show that you’ve read and understand the play, so the more you can write that expresses that, the better!
ESSAY 1: If you were directing a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and could set it in any place and time, where/when would you set it? Support your answer with a detailed explanation.
ESSAY 2: Discuss the four groups of characters in the play and what “worlds” they live in. How do those worlds interact and why is that important?
