After reading Rolston Environmental Ethics what do you think the relationship is or should be between philosophy and the environmental sciences?  How do you understand the relationship between what you have normally thought of as “ethics” and environmental ethics?  Select a particular topic or ethic covered in the article (e.g., the land ethic; biocentrism, animals in the environment) and respond to that at some length, covering the disadvantages and disadvantages you see in that particular ethic or environmental topic.
