Students are required to write a 1,500-word essay responding to ONE of the
following prompts.
All essays must reference at least one finding in the Intergovernmental Panel
on Climate Change (IPCC) summary for policy makers.
Consult the Week Two lecture recording for further details of the assignment
(word limit, bibliography, sexist language etc.).

Summarize and critically evaluate Sinnott-Armstrongs single best
argument, or best two or three arguments, for his claim that individuals have
no obligation to refrain from actions that contribute to climate change.
