Persuasive presentation essay

It will be in a problem-solution format. The first half of the presentation describes a terrible problem that is occurring in our culture and then half-way
through there is a shift to a way to fix this problem (a solution). The solution in this presentation must be a government policy change. You will be
showing your audience how we need a new law that will solve a terrible social problem. We still use the steps of the basic speech structure – please
review the scoring rubric as you prepare for this presentation. In a way, you are giving a type of an infomercial, except instead of a product, you are
selling your audience on the need for a new law (see the Snuggie Infomercial on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xZp-GLMMJ0 – identify
the problem/solution sequence).
