Managing global virtual teams

I need two pages that will link chapter 6: managing effectively to the topic of managing global virtual teams. It is for a course about managers, so the focus should be on managing. It needs to be academically sound. For example in chapter 6 they discuss a framework for effectiveness, I would like to have this theory linked to managing global virtual teams, so you might either say that the literature by Mintzberg agrees with managing global virtual teams or that there are contradictions.
