Income Taxes

Using evidence from several academic sources, this paper will assess the economic impact of income taxes on states that currently implement them and those that do not. Do income taxes help promote economic growth within a state?  Or does it hamper business development and citizen morale/production?  The paper will argue, based on the evidence reviewed, whether the federal government should or should not ensure that all states levy income taxes on individuals and business entities as a mechanism for economic growth at the local, state and national level.  Paper should include a historical, political, and policy discussion regarding the issue,
