This week, you were introduced to (or renewed your acquaintance with) Muhammad Ali.  Based on the definitions that are in our notes and the articles and interviews from this week, do you think that Ali qualifies as a hero based on the characteristics of an epic hero?  In 2-3 paragraphs, explain which characteristics he reflects.  Which characteristics seem to be missing?  Be specific in your references to Ali’s life and explain how each connects to the characteristics in the notes.
