Part 1
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the most common occupational illness in Great Britain, affecting 1.0 million people a year (HSE web site). 

Write a comprehensive review of the impact of MSDs from an occupational health viewpoint; as well as discussing the causes, tolerability standards and prevention/control strategies. 

This will constitute 50% of the final assessment marks for this module and should consist of no more than 3000 words. 

Part 2
Identify and review how an occupational health hazard (excluding MSDs) is managed in a chosen organisation. This should be appropriately referenced. It should have the following structure

a. Introduction
b. Nature of the Hazard – review relevant literature
c. Critical analysis of current management practice
d. Recommendations 

This will constitute 50% of the final assessment marks for this module and should consist of no more than 3000 words.
