inspirational application of scientific principles to economic reality

Hi, I am looking for someone to write an article on charles goodyear Paper must be at least 1750 words. Please, no plagiarized work! In truth, his story is an inspirational application of scientific principles to economic reality, with Goodyear’s frequent and often futile attempts to secure capital to apply his ideas to abundance in everyday life. However, only after his death would rubber become an everyday product and a massive industry of production. In 1898, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company took Goodyear’s name in commemoration of his achievement. Thus, even though Goodyear never applied his invention to the mass market as other great inventors did in 19th century America, it is still fair to say that Goodyear lived the American dream of experimenting with science to better mankind.

Goodyear was born in New Haven, Connecticut on December 29, 1800 to a well-respected, upper-class family. In 1814, the teenage Goodyear left for Philadelphia to learn about industry. returning in 1821, Goodyear entered into a partnership in his father’s business producing various metal-based products. Three years later, Goodyear married Clarissa Beecher and together they moved to Philadelphia where Goodyear, having left his father’s business, opened a general hardware store. He sold agricultural products imported from England. Within a few years, his business was thriving, and by 1829, he had amassed quite a bit of wealth. In 1829, however, his health declined due to a case of dyspepsia, a disease that attacks the digestive system and causes chronic pain in the upper abdomen. Around this time, his business failed as well. eventually, he was forced to close a number of stores. After his health returned, Goodyear undertook a project that would form the basis of his life’s work: the vulcanization process of rubber (Peirce).

In 1831, Goodyear began researching gum elastic. He experimented with the best method to make rubber.

In its simplest form, a mass spectrometer performs majorly three functions which are. it subjects the molecules to be analyzed to random bombardment by a stream of high energy electrons hence converting some of the molecules into ions. The ions are accelerated in an electric field by polarized plates that occur in a series. During this process, a large potential difference is created which ranges from 1 Kilovolt to 10 kilovolts which are applied across these accelerating plates and this produces a beam of rapidly traveling positive ions. Additionally, one or more focusing slits direct these ions into a uniform beam. Most of the sample molecules are usually not ionized at all but are drawn off continuously by vacuum pumps which are connected to the ionization chamber. Some of the molecules are converted to negative ions through the absorption of electrons. The negative ions are absorbed by the repelled plate and the small proportion of the positive ions formed. The repeller plate engages these destructive ions. A minor percentage of the positive ions which are made may have a charge larger than one. These are enhanced in a similar way as the individually charged positive ions.

Additionally, the enhanced ions are disconnected according to their mass-to-charge ratios in a magnetic or electric field by a rebound that happens by a practical magnetic field. Lastly, the ions that have a specific mass to- charge ratio are noticed by a sensor device which can tally the number of ions arresting it that have assigned the fixed-curved radius of twist due to the practical magnetic field

Particles with mass-to-charge proportions which are either too big or too minor strike the edges of the analyzer cylinder and do not touch the detector.&nbsp.

Writing Assignment #2:
1) Self-help/support groups are mutual-help groups made up of people who have similar problems. They fall somewhere in between traditional social supports and formal agencies. Please select ONE self-help group, perform some online research and then answer the following questions: (Chapter 1, 20pts)
A)What is the name of the group? Where and how often do they meet? (5pts) If they meet online please provide the zoom/skype link information. It would be best if you found something in your local state, city and/or borough.
B) Who is this group for? What factors determine if the client is the right fit for this group: age? Gender? Shared Experiences? Trauma? Etc. (5pts)
C) What service does the group provide? What is their mission statement/goal? (5pts)
D) Please explain why you think self-help groups could be beneficial for a client? (5pts)
2) Please select and identify ONE human service agency/organization. Perform some online research and then answer the following questions: (Chapter 1, 20pts)
A) How is this organization sponsored/funded: Privately (private citizens, religious affiliations or corporations)? or is it funded publicly (federal, local or state governments)? (5pts)
B) Is this organization a for-profit or non-profit organization? Make sure to include the definitions of what makes that so. (5pts)
C) What are the stated goals of the agency? What needs does the agency attempt to meet? What population is served? (5pts)
D) What is the bureaucracy of this organization? What kind of employees do they have? How are decisions made? Who sets the goals of this organization? (5pts)
3) According to your textbook, there are several ways that individuals can study and understand human disorders. Using your own skills of observation how would you explain the affects that Covid-19 has had on yourself and society: from a biological perspective (5pts)? from a psychological perspective (5pts)? from a social perspective (5pts)? In order to receive full-credit you must reference the definitions of each level of observation found in Chapter 4. In addition, what would you suggest as a proposed solution to some of the psychological issues that may exist as a result of Covid-19? (5pts) (Chapter 4, 20pts)
4) One of Sigmund Freud’s major contributions to the subject of psychology is his personality theory. Freud believed that our personality is made up of three subsystems: Id, Ego and Superego. The three parts of our personality have to negotiate every moment and influence every decision we make. The Id is selfish (thinking only of ourselves) and the Superego is selfless (thinking only of others). How has your Ego resolved some of these conflicts during this time in isolation: What have you done that is selfish (Id) (10pts)? What have you done that is selfless (Superego) (10pts)? (Chapter 4, 20pts)
5) Conditioning is defined as a situation that brings about a change in the behavior of an organism. In classical conditioning, the change is automatic. Many of us have been conditioned by life events to fear or experience pleasure in response to certain objects and situations. In operant conditioning, the change is much more under voluntary control. Our behavior is constantly influenced by patterns of rewards and punishments. What behaviors have you changed through classical or operant conditioning during this time in isolation: Have you experienced any new fears? Found any new pleasures? Learned something new and then rewarded yourself for it? Did something “bad” and then punished yourself for it? (Chapter 4, 20pts)
