Describe the district’s stakeholder engagement process.
- Describe the district’s stakeholder engagement process.
Use the following elements to describe the process:
How did the district select the designated stakeholders to create an inclusive team with varied perspectives?
- Georgia Cyber Academy identified the critical stakeholders that needed to be involved in this process after we reviewed Odyssey’s 2013-2014 Governor’s Office of Student Achievement Report Card. The Odyssey report was used to develop our SSIP due to baseline data being needed. GCA was a new LEA during the 2014-2015 school year and hasn’t received its Georgia Milestones scores. Going forward GCA will annually update its SSIP from our own Georgia Milestones Assessment results.
Was there a district stakeholder group that could be repurposed for this opportunity? If so, share any critical connections.
- Georgia Cyber Academy’s Parent Mentor Plan has been aligned to the SSIP to provide intentional support to student with disabilities and their family.
- Georgia Cyber Academy aligned its Transition Coordinators open office sessions with the SSIP so that we may provide additional support to our students and families.
