This assignment is very open to interpretation (which is one of the main reasons why I am struggling so much!)! It is essentially an open review of the book “Hallucinations” by Oliver Sacks. All that is neccessary is somehow tying this book into the concept of mental illness or psychiatric disorders. A thesis that I was leaning towards was something such as the idea that “Hallucinations are often associated solely with indivduals who suffer from psychiatric conditions, when in reality there are a wide range of reasons why hallucinations can also plague those without mental illnesses”. Overall I wanted to prove that hallucinations can occur for a wide variety of reasons and it does not just have to pertain to those who are mentally ill. If you have any questions feel free to ask me and I can try to clarify! The beauty of this project is how few rules or constraints there are on the assignment itself!

Quickies: The Handbook of Brief Sex Therapy Review both books in 10-12 pages. (double-spaced, 12 font) Use Microsoft Word format.
