What causes these situations, are they long, medium, or short term concerns, and what impact do they have on their economies (i.e., are they good or bad for them and why)? What types of trade controls, if any, might be in place and how beneficial or detrimental are they? What types of foreign direct investment are the most common in the country you chose? What countries do the companies making such investments come from?
