Construct a thesis statement in response to ONE of the TWO prompts.
Write two body paragraphs in support of your thesis – NO COUNTER ARGUMENT REQUIRED.
Use evidence from the documents provided in class to support your argument.
Body paragraphs should include:
a topic sentence that is tied to your thesis statement
DESCRIPTION of the evidence from the documents – NOT A QUOTE! That supports your argument / claim
An explanation of how that evidence supports the argument made in your topic sentence.
At least THREE documents (of the one documents provided)
You DO NOT need to write a full introduction – just the thesis statement
You DO NOT need to write a conclusion – just the body paragraphs
