Do you believe that each of us is more than the worst thing we have ever done? Why or why not, or to what extent do you believe this is true? Make sure your argument uses the Rhetorical appeals of Logos (logic), Pathos (emotion), and Ethos (credibility). Please use examples from the book and feel free to make connections with your own life, if it’s helpful and appropriate to your argument. If you want an “A” –
You will create a solid thesis statement,
You will show critical thinking and knowledge of the book
You will have proper MLA formatting (use Office 365 as it’s foolproof!)
You will use a combination of Logos (what the book says), Ethos (what you feel about it), and Ethos (why should the audience trust you?) in your argument
Your paper will be free of glaring errors in grammar or spelling
Your paper will be the appropriate length, because it explores the question in depth
Remember that at the end of your essay you need to create a WORKS CITED where you show the reader the full information about your sources. In this case, it’s easy.
