Therefore Facebook Company has actors in both its micro or internal environment and macro or external environment. The main actors in the Facebook Company micro-environment are the chain command, the office culture, and the levels of the management hierarchy. The organization structure of the company is organic such that employees tend to work in teams with fewer levels of hierarchy. Mark Zuckerberg, the owner, and CEO of the company has created an internal environment that ensures that every employee works comfortably. The company does not focus too much on the dress code of the employees; the only thing Zuckerberg is concerned about for the company is effective operation. He aims to create a conducive environment for his employees to work and stay motivated. Facebook’s internal management is dynamic such that it changes with the changes in the environment. Its CEO encourages collaboration among employees, a thing that he starts by himself because, unlike other company CEOs, he is easily accessible to them. Facebook is a transformational company with a transformational leader (Yam, 2016). On the other hand, Facebook Company continues to evolve while addressing the macroenvironmental factors that affect the social media industry. As one of the top players in the industry, the company can maintain its position through brand development, popularity, and investment in research and development. However, there is a need for adjustment of the macroenvironmental factors of the company to improve its competition among its competitors such as Google, Twitter, and Snapchat. The first factor is the political factor, which directly affects the operations of the company. The government regulates all company operations through business regulations and laws. Forth is social, cultural factors, especially in business advertising, where most people are abandoning traditional advertising and embracing digital advertising. The company is benefiting from digital advertising, which continues to gain popularity. The fifth is an ecological factor that involves the company’s participation in the protection of the natural environment.
