Final Paper and Reflection

The final weekâ€s assignment will focus on revision.

Part 1: Youâ€ve submitted drafts of two different stories and received feedback for both from your instructor and writing group. Using that feedback, thoroughly revise your story and do your best to implement the feedback to the best of your ability. Please note that line edits or changing a couple of sentences around does not count as revision. You must significantly revise and make changes to your story in order to show that you have seriously thought about and engaged with your own writing.

Part 2: Write a 1-2 page reflection on your revision process. What did you change, and why? Why did you choose this particular story to revise? What were your feelings on the first draft? What about the workshopping process? How do you feel about this second draft? Do you feel that this second draft is working better than or not as well as the first? Why? Really dig in and discuss your experience with this process.
