This assignment continues work on execution, monitoring and controlling the project. There will be times

as you are monitoring your project when corrective actions will have to be made.

The following three project examples are scenarios of possible situations that can occur while working on

a project; they are independent of each other. Given the following information, what are the corrective

actions you would make?

You are the project manager for a software upgrade that is trending 30% over its estimated budget. The

project is three months from going to production. The project sponsor is worried about the budget as the

company has no more money available.
You have heard from multiple members on your project team that there has been many surprises and no

one really knows the status of the project. You have also heard some members do not know what is

expected of them.
During a project status meeting early on you start to see two different visions as what the project should

accomplish. Given the planning that has already taken place what do you do from here?
