For those of you in class who have a nonprofit as your project business, here is how you should handle your paper on pricing.
In your nonprofit has an attendance type of venue that is one of the ways they raise money, such as Pacific Science Center, a museum, aquarium, etc., you should look at pricing on an individual ticket basis and annual membership basis. Is it low, fair, too high, etc., and your analysis about your conclusions.
If your nonprofit has an attendance type of venue or not, this means all nonprofits client project organizations, you should look at how effective they are at raising money instead of pricing. How easy is it to donate? Are they telling a compelling story that engages you and makes you want to donate, or are they just posting a donate button and asking for money? Do they make the ask in compelling ways in a variety of places? Website? Social media? Does it only take one of two clicks to donate or is it a long process of multiple clicks? Are the images they use engaging and compelling or dull and boring?
