Apply and describe the standard Utility Maximization Problem (UMP) to the market for breakfast cereals.  Identify the goal, endogenous (i.e. choice) variables, exogenous variables and the economically important solutions to the model. 
Summarize Hausman’s utility maximization process that gives the demand functions discussed in the paper (in section 5.3 of the paper).  How is this approach similar to the standard UMP?  How is it different from the standard UMP?
Summarize Hausman’s reasons as to why demand estimation is important.  What application is Hausman investigating and how will estimating demand help provide the answer? 
Summarize Hausman’s findings (in section 5.4 of the paper)

The Crucible

Students will develop their own claim about one of the following characters/group of characters in Arthur Millers play The Crucible: Abigail Williams, John Proctor, Reverend Parris, and the town of Salem. They will then write a 3-4 page analysis defending that claim (the minimum requirement is a FULL three pages). The paper should be typed (submitted on Google Classroom), double-spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman, and should have one-inch margins.

Quotes/evidence should be used in all paragraphs, with the exception of the introduction and conclusion. All evidence and quotes should be cited in-text according to MLA format. The essay should also include a works cited page that should include The Crucible only. All other ideas and analysis should be your own thoughts and ideas. The essay will be run through a plagiarism checker in Google Classroom so make sure all analysis and writing is your own work. Students who try to pass off someone elses thoughts and ideas as their own will receive a score of zero and will be written up for plagiarism.
