Please carefully read the unit documents, (other than the ‘President`s Commission’), and view the unit videos taking notes as you view them. In your “Main Discussion” post select two or three ideas that struck as being particularly interesting or important. In your first sentence identify the points you will discuss. Then thoughtfully discuss the points that you selected. Show that you are integrating ideas from The President’s Commision and the videos into your posts.

Memo

Uninformed opinions are usually based on assumptions we’ve never really examined. Examples of popular assumptions that are largely unexamined include:

1. “Bottled water is safer and better for us than tap water.”
2. “Forest fires should always be prevented or suppressed immediately.”
3. “The fewer germs in their environment, the healthier the children.”
4. “The more soy we eat, the better.”

Identify and examine any one popular assumption for accuracy.

For example, you might tackle the bottle water assumption by visiting the FDA website <www.fda.gov> and the Sierra Club site <www.sierra.org> for starters. Also take a look at the Sierra Club’s twitter feed: <www.twitter.com/Sierra_Club>.
Trace the sites and links to get the information and write up your findings in a memo.

The memo must be 2 pages double-spaced and be sure to attach a Works Cited page as well.

– In terms of currency denomination, describe how the firm prices its revenues and costs.
– For multinational enterprises (MNEs) with multiple foreign operations, consider any 2 of those operations and the contribution they are making to the parent firm’s profits.
– What means do they use to hedge against exchange rate risk?
– Using this information, what do you think would be the effect of increases or decreases in the dollars exchange value on the firms profitability?
– Be sure to show all applicable work.

Submitting your assignment in APA format means, at a minimum, you will need the following:

The type face should be 12-pt. Times Roman or 12-pt. Courier in regular black type. Do not use color, bold type, or italics except as required for APA-level headings and references. The deliverable length of the body of your paper for this assignment is 34 pages. In-body academic citations to support your decisions and analysis are required. A variety of academic sources is encouraged.
Reference page: References that align with your in-body academic sources are listed on the final page of your paper. The references must be in APA format using appropriate spacing, hang indention, italics, and upper- and lowercase usage as appropriate for the type of resource used. Remember, the Reference page is not a bibliography but a further listing of the abbreviated in-body citations used in the paper. Every referenced item must have a corresponding in-body citation.
