What are some of the variables that can affect your hospital internally and externally? Would you hire a marketer or a website developer to improve your hospital website? Or would you recommend expanding your quality and what are some of the internal dynamics that can be used to build a successful brand or mission for the hospital? Part 1-The President is limited to two terms under the 22nd amendment, but there are no such limits for members of the U.S. Congress. There have been members who have served nearly 70 years! Should there be limits for members of U.S. Congress? What about the State Legislature?

Part 2- I’m going to individually assign you two legislators, a Republican and a Democrat. I want to know all about them.
First, give me the objective info. Who are they, where do they serve and where are they from, how long have they been in the legislature, what committees are they on, what issues do they run on/care about, what are they most known for, etc. Then give me a good paragraph on what you like/don’t like about them. Watch some youtube videos on the person. Should this person leave Congress, are they doing good things? I’ll assign you just do the two people in your number.

 A good health care manager is always prepared, but there are times even the best managers will be caught by surprise and have to think on their feet.

 

You are the assistant manager of a small community clinic. It’s a busy Monday morning, two of your staff called in sick: the clinic manager and a clerk. A Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) auditor walks up to the front desk. He provides his credentials and informs you he is there to inspect your medical records. You immediately feel nervous, as you realize there are several potential issues the auditor can notice. For example, you’ve been wanting to purchase computer monitor screens that provide security so patient information is not view able from side angles. With a tight budget, this was put on the back burner. Additionally, you just noticed one of your staff who is out sick left three unprocessed patient checkout sheets sitting on her desk chair, which apparently have been there since Friday.

 Explain your next steps, addressing the following points:

Can you ask the auditor to wait while you verify his credentials? If so, explain how you can verify.

Should you explain why you don’t have the computer monitor screens?

Explain how you should handle the checkout sheets situation. Remember, it’s a busy and understaffed day.
