In Katherines final long speech of the film, she defines the relationship of a wife to husband.  This relationship is reflective of the social customs of Shakespeares day.  Does any of it carry over to today?  If so, what?  If not, what?

Has the relationship between spouses changed?

Finally, what in Katherines speech makes it clear that a husband does NOT have the right to abuse his wife in any way?
