college admissions should not be based on affirmative action because it lowers the standards for all students. Asian-Americans have the highest academic scores but are punished by a system that wants to make sure that they have their quota of all races. Unfortunately  what is happening is that the asians are testing the highest but because of their culture personality traits, mexicans and blacks get precedence over the Asian-Americans. Being judged on personality traits of a culture is an unfair practice by the college system. Acceptance into a college should be solely based on academic testing and not personality traits.
