This Case Study requires you to select and describe a sport entity that you will hopefully elaborate upon for the Mini Analysis 2, 3, and your Marketing Plan. You will essentially define who they are and what they do. Specifically, you will begin by reviewing and following the initial Strategic Steps 1 of the overall Marketing Plan.
Assignment components include:
Overview of Entity (4 points): Select one sport entity that is most similar to the setting in which you wish to advance your career or one you find particularly interesting. Provide a clear description of the entity and specifically their name, location, size, organizational structure, web address, etc. of the entity. Be sure to include the criteria by which you selected this entity.
Vision & Ideology (8 points): Detail your entity’s vision and ideology. What do they stand for and what are their priorities?
Mission/Purpose (8 points): Detail your entity’s mission or purpose statement. What is it they say they do?
Product Identification & Position (8 points): Identify the entity’s product as well as their position within their market. How do they compare to similar or competitive entities? Additionally, identify what they do well and what others can learn from them, as well as, what lessons they can learn from similar or competitive entities.
Format (2 points): You should adhere to the following format when completing this assignment:
· Do not exceed two typed pages written in block paragraph format.
· Use Times New Roman 11 or 12 point font.
· Use headings and subheadings as indicated above.
· Number your pages
· Do not indent paragraphs
