Birth Plan

A birthing plan, or birth plan, is a document you develop to let your medical team know your preferences for during labor and delivery. Keep in mind that you cannot control any aspects of the labor and delivery process, and flexibility is key, but you can plan much of the process.

You are having a baby. Develop a birth plan that expresses your wants for the labor and delivery process. Many hospitals provide a checklist type plan that can be used, however you can simply write yours out.
