Now is the time to select this country for yourself. This country can be in Central America, Middle East, South America, Asia, Africa, or Europe, anywhere in the world. All you have to do this week is “adopt-a-country” and briefly explain why you are choosing the country you are. You can relate it to your major, a possible location for future international study abroad, a country under discussion in another class, or simply out of personal curiosity for some reason. Whatever your choice, demonstrate you have given your selection some thought. Please select a country that is not familiar to you.
