Topic 8: What language(s) do you speak/understand and to what level(s)? Consider second/foreign language(s) as well as regional differences in language (i.e. slang, colloquialisms, manner/pattern of speaking and other sociolinguistics). How is your primary language a product of your culture and how does it influence the ways you perceive the world? Provide some examples of how your culture(s) have shaped the way you speak and communicate. Note: culture can include your family, your school, profession, the region you come from, your ethnicity, etc.
