Operations and Supply Chain Project: The purposes of this student team project are: (1) to identify any actual organization where students can
collect necessary data to analyze at least one aspect of supply chain (for example, inventory, transportation, information, sourcing, etc.) to achieve
right balance between responsiveness and efficiency (Instructor may provide “Alternative Supply Chain Project” to the teams who cannot identify a
real company to work with) and (2) to make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the current practices in the selected aspect of the
Supply Chain performance.
