The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.

The second paper will be a summary of the assigned book. The length requirements are the same as that of the seminar papers (5-7 pages which includes the title page, and the bibliography page). You should spend a portion (no more than 1/3 of the paper) summarizing the book and the balance of the paper should be devoted a discussion of the different barriers you identify based upon your reading in your textbook (e.g., racial issues, socioeconomic status issues, etc).  Please note that FOR THIS PAPER ONLY, no additional research/bibliography is needed.  The page requirements for this paper are the same as the first paper for all students.
