Biography of a Sociologist

DO NOT CHOOSE KARL MARX OR SIGMUND FREUD

1. Functionalism; 2. Conflict theory; and 3. Symbolic Interactionism or one of the emerging paradigms,  4. Feminist Theory,  5. Exchange Theory, 6. Environmental Theory.  For this assignment you are to choose one of these paradigms which is of interest to you. Then begin your paper by introducing your chosen paradigm’s key concepts and understandings of society. For the second half of your paper explore the life and thought of one of the major theorists associated with the paradigm you chose.  For example if you chose Structural Functionalism you could chose to write about Emile Durkheim as the theorist.
