This is a final assessment for a history of film and tv media course. In our course textbook, we have covered 5 chapters. Chapters 1,2,3,4, and 12. Instead of an exam, we were asked to go through each chapter and come up with 5 pieces of advice and why are they each important pieces of advice… write 10 sentences (the five bits of advice and the five reasons)
I have added a google drive link to the course textbook, you will need to download it to view and access it.

Here are the professor’s instructions for this assignment:
“A number of individuals have emailed asking for clarification on the exam…my apologies if I said the topic in a confusing way…so I’ve reworked it slightly to try and make it a little easier for you to understand. Your second exam for the semester…for that exam, which will be due on Friday, May 6, at 12:00 noon (I extended the due date too), instead of combing through the textbook as you did for the last exam I want to make things a little more simple for you, so, for this next exam answer the following: Based upon what you were presented this semester if you were charged with giving 5 pieces of advice to someone thinking of entering the communication and media industry (or someone trying to understand the inner workings of the industry better), what would those 5 pieces of advice be and why are they each important pieces of advice. Now, some of you will only write 10 sentences (the five bits of advice and the five reasons) others will write more…the point is your eyes should have been opened through my talks, the videos, the textbook, the blog, the crew work…and you are determining what is most noteworthy. Quantity of work isn’t necessarily the mark of quality…remember, there can be a whole lot more sold in a 30-second commercial than in an hour-long infomercial…but, that 30-second commercial kept the audience’s attention and caused positive action because it demonstrated a whole lot of care, thoughtfulness and hard work…and those things can reap great rewards.”
