journal

This journal is used to place your notes, observations and questions from the readings (textbook and blackboard assignments). 
To provide clarity and for objective grading I will grade your weekly Reading  journals based on the number of sources you reference.  Each week you will have assigned the following course materials:
Readings from the Text
PowerPoint Slides
Lecture
Videos
Primary Document
Music
Each weeks journal entry will be graded on the number of these materials discussed.  2 points for each source – do 5 of the 6 and you earn 10 points. Entries do not have to be very long.  A few sentences may suffice.  What you are doing is showing that you are engaged with the material.  This journal should also be a place for you to ask questions or share an observation about what you are learning.
